Last week I conquered my fear of running 18 miles! Last time I ran that far was back in November at the NYC Marathon but now that it’s behind me I can reassure to myself that everything is possible.
Surprisingly I felt great during the long run, which in part I attribute it to the weather since I was in California. We were there for a few days because Bobby was working and then I came home because I was hosting a shower for my sweet sister-in-law to be 🙂
These days have been a bit hectic.
We were in Santa Monica during the week and flew back home on the weekend… While in California I had 2 normal runs and a really bad one.
Long story short, because a condition I have that I’ll share with you later, I’m supposed to be taking flax seed oil. I bought some 1000mg capsules and took the first one on Tuesday… After that everything is history.
After 7 months without doing My Weekly Mileage I decided to come back and share with you my experiences while training for my 6th marathon.
Since I last posted on MWM a lot has happened… We went to Panama and Colombia to visit my family, we got a dog (my sweet little coco Deen),I became a lululemon ambassador, I’ve ran a few half marathons and got a new PR in that distance and I also completed my second Half Ironman.
